A New Way to Volunteer at Sarvey:Join us on a One-Day Volunteer Work Party!Have you wanted to volunteer at Sarvey but couldn't make the weekly commitment?You'd like to volunteer at Sarvey but live to far away?Don't have enough hours in the day for an on-going commitment?Or simply don't like the down and dirty cleaning inside the clinic?The Solution: The Volunteer Work Party!Work Party Advantages:• No weekly commitment or training sessions• An opportunity to really get involved and help our wildlife• A chance to meet others who share the same passion for animalsSample Volunteer Tasks:Landscaping/gardeningClear brush for future fence linePaintingImproving/maintaining existing wildlife enclosuresBuilding new wildlife enclosuresLegal Requirements:No direct animal contact allowed and must be at least 14 years oldThis type of volunteering is invaluable to the quality of care for the wild animals.The clinic volunteers simply don't have time to take care of the animals and thencomplete the maintenance and building projects required to keep Sarvey open. Wehave struggled with these tasks in the past and now hope that these Volunteer WorkParties will appeal to those of you who would like to make a limited commitment.Our head of maintenance will be on hand to supervise and direct all Volunteer WorkParties. Just show up and pitch in!
