A New Way to Volunteer at Sarvey:

Join us on a One-Day Volunteer Work Party!
Have you wanted to volunteer at Sarvey but couldn't make the weekly commitment?
You'd like to volunteer at Sarvey but live to far away?
Don't have enough hours in the day for an on-going commitment?
Or simply don't like the down and dirty cleaning inside the clinic?
The Solution: The Volunteer Work Party!

Work Party Advantages:
• No weekly commitment or training sessions
• An opportunity to really get involved and help our wildlife
• A chance to meet others who share the same passion for animals

Sample Volunteer Tasks:
Landscaping/gardening
Clear brush for future fence line
Painting
Improving/maintaining existing wildlife enclosures
Building new wildlife enclosures

Legal Requirements:
No direct animal contact allowed and must be at least 14 years old

This type of volunteering is invaluable to the quality of care for the wild animals.
The clinic volunteers simply don't have time to take care of the animals and then
complete the maintenance and building projects required to keep Sarvey open. We
have struggled with these tasks in the past and now hope that these Volunteer Work
Parties will appeal to those of you who would like to make a limited commitment.
Our head of maintenance will be on hand to supervise and direct all Volunteer Work
Parties. Just show up and pitch in! You can volunteer the entire day or any part of the day.

If you have any questions or if you have a very specific talent or trade you'd like to
volunteer, please contact Kelly, our Volunteer Coordinator at kelly@sarveywildlife.org
