Patient Profiles
Every day new patients arrive at our facility. We see over 3,000 patients annually. Over 135 different species come to us for care. In an effort to tell their stories of survival and highlight the diverse number of species that we rehabilitate, we try to share some of their stories here. You can also see posts on our social media pages.

The opossum was not leaving the area and was pretty much just hanging out under some items on the homeowner's porch. We went to see if he could be contained and found him under a skateboard. He was brought in for care and radiographs showed he had a fracture to the facial bones. The fracture is in good alignment and will heal in time. The swelling is reducing and he is eating well. He is sleeping snuggled up to a new "friend". Status: Released
