Patient Profiles
Every day new patients arrive at our facility. We see over 3,000 patients annually. Over 135 different species come to us for care. In an effort to tell their stories of survival and highlight the diverse number of species that we rehabilitate, we try to share some of their stories here. You can also see posts on our social media pages.

Little Brown Myotis
We have been receiving a lot of calls about bats recently. This is the 13th bat to arrive so far this year. Sadly, he was unlucky. He was developing some necrosis to the wings and passed away after a couple of days in care. White nose syndrome is a serious fungal disease that is causing huge mortality events in bats species. We are doing all we can to offer supportive care and all bats that are euthanized or die are submitted to the state lab for further testing and research.
