This patient arrived on 8/21 and sadly was discovered in an illegal leg hold trap. She struggled a while and damaged the feathers on her wings, but the most serious injury is to her foot. She lost one toe and you can see her bright blue bandage. Her condition is guarded but, she is eating well and we are hopeful. Turkey Vultures are amazing birds, so intelligent. Status - Released.
