Patient Updates
Every day new patients arrive at our facility. In an effort to tell their story of survival and highlight the diverse number of species that we rehabilitate, we highlight a new patient each week. Some of these are individuals, others are orphaned siblings. As their cases progress - we will update the outcome - our hope is that many, many of these patients are released!

Baby Barn owl
This little one was found all alone in a hay truck that was making a delivery in the Stanwood area. It appears to be in great condition and healthy. Status - transferred for continued care. This orphan was sent to PAWS Wildlife so it would have a sibling. They had one orphan as well. We are currently caring for 4 orphaned Great horned owlets. It is important that these birds have others from their species, therefore, it is common for local area clinics to transfer orphans to create new sibling groups.
