Patient Profiles
Every day new patients arrive at our facility. We see over 3,000 patients annually. Over 135 different species come to us for care. In an effort to tell their stories of survival and highlight the diverse number of species that we rehabilitate, we try to share some of their stories here. Baby Red-tailed hawk
He was discovered in the street. People had noticed him on the ground for a couple of days and apparently other species of dead birds were in the area too. He was very thin and dehydrated so was clearly orphaned. Look at his handsome downy feathers. He is a big baby!! Status: released.
