Patient Profiles
Every day new patients arrive at our facility. We see over 3,000 patients annually. Over 135 different species come to us for care. In an effort to tell their stories of survival and highlight the diverse number of species that we rehabilitate, we try to share some of their stories here. Orphaned Great Blue Heron
He was found on the ground in Everett. There is a rookery near where he was rescued, but he seemed to be abandoned. Maybe kicked out by siblings or some other disturbance. He came in on June 5th and is growing well and eating LOTS of fish! Status: released.
