Patient Profiles

Every day new patients arrive at our facility. We see over 3,000 patients annually. Over 135 different species come to us for care. In an effort to tell their stories of survival and highlight the diverse number of species that we rehabilitate, we try to share some of their stories here. You can also see posts on our social media pages.

Orphaned American Kestrel

By Sarvey Wildlife / Monday, July 8, 2019 /

This Kestrel was found on the ground in a driveway in Arlington. She came in on June 27 and you can see in the second photo how much she has grown in a short time. These are considered one of the smallest and fiercest falcons. Sadly, over the past 50 years their population has declined by 50%! Status: released.
