Patient Profiles
Every day new patients arrive at our facility. We see over 3,000 patients annually. Over 135 different species come to us for care. In an effort to tell their stories of survival and highlight the diverse number of species that we rehabilitate, we try to share some of their stories here. Pacific Jumping Mouse
This week we profile one of our smaller patients. He has a very long tail though! These are one of our native species of mice. They can jump as high as 10 feet. One publication said they are "among our most attractive small rodents" - we think he's pretty cute too! He was orphaned and brought in for care. Status: released
