Every day new patients arrive at our facility. We see over 3,000 patients annually. Over 135 different species come to us for care. In an effort to tell their stories of survival and highlight the diverse number of species that we rehabilitate, we try to share some of their stories here. Young Bald Eagle
This eagle was having a rough first year. She was reported to be fighting with another eagle and appeared unable to fly. One of our volunteers went to assess and rescue her. She is huge! No obvious injuries. She is a bit thin, was soaked and smelled of manure. This is the fourth eagle we’ve received in the past few days. Status: Released
