Patient Profiles
Every day new patients arrive at our facility. We see over 3,000 patients annually. Over 135 different species come to us for care. In an effort to tell their stories of survival and highlight the diverse number of species that we rehabilitate, we try to share some of their stories here. You can also see posts on our social media pages.

Orphaned Mallards
All four of these arrived yesterday. Three were rescued after their mom and siblings were hit by a car. They were the only survivors. Then the fourth one arrived after the mother and another sibling also died. These four are now together and will soon join many more ducklings in our care. We raised over 150 orphaned ducklings last year. Baby season is here! Slow down and watch for ducks and geese crossing over roadways. Status: Released
