Patient Profiles
Every day new patients arrive at our facility. We see over 3,000 patients annually. Over 135 different species come to us for care. In an effort to tell their stories of survival and highlight the diverse number of species that we rehabilitate, we try to share some of their stories here. You can also see posts on our social media pages.

Entangled Owl
This juvenile Great Horned owl was rescued after being caught up in netting. Please remove sports nets when not in use and be sure landscape netting or covering over coops is tight and secure. We get many birds of prey and small mammals that get stuck. Most of these entrapment situations could be prevented. He was quickly able to be assessed and luckily had no injuries, so he returned to his family after a short stay. He was quite expressive. Status: released
