Patient Profiles
Every day new patients arrive at our facility. We see over 3,000 patients annually. Over 135 different species come to us for care. In an effort to tell their stories of survival and highlight the diverse number of species that we rehabilitate, we try to share some of their stories here. You can also see posts on our social media pages.

Mountain Beaver
This juvenile Mountain Beaver was found wandering in someone’s yard for two days. He is suffering from some kind of respiratory infection and is being treated in our ICU. Status: sadly, he passed away after 24 hours due to the severity of his infection. Despite our best efforts and medications for pneumonia - he was too sick to be saved.
