Every day new patients arrive at our facility. We see over 3,000 patients annually. Over 135 different species come to us for care. In an effort to tell their stories of survival and highlight the diverse number of species that we rehabilitate, we try to share some of their stories here. Barred Owl Hit By Truck
This Barred owl was injured when he flew into a truck and hit the utility bucket. He fell into the apparatus and was hurt. There was an injury to one wing and he lost sight in one eye. We will be moving him outside soon to see if he can adapt to his visual impairment. Status: Released
