Every day new patients arrive at our facility. We see over 3,000 patients annually. Over 135 different species come to us for care. In an effort to tell their stories of survival and highlight the diverse number of species that we rehabilitate, we try to share some of their stories here. Baby Bald Eagle
We received this young orphaned eagle in early July. He was all alone and not doing well. We were guarded of his prognosis, but he is doing much better now. It is likely he came out of the nest too early due to 4th of July fireworks. This seems to happen each year. We hope he continues to get stronger so he can eventually be released. Status: Released
