Every day new patients arrive at our facility. We see over 3,000 patients annually. Over 135 different species come to us for care. In an effort to tell their stories of survival and highlight the diverse number of species that we rehabilitate, we try to share some of their stories here. Sleepy Squirrels
These four Eastern Gray Squirrels are our first babies of the season. They arrived Saturday, March 23 when their nest was displaced during some tree removal. They are doing well and snuggling together in an incubator. Please watch for nests and try to wait to remove trees and shrubs until the babies are out of the nest. Watch for bunnies and small birds that may be nesting in the grass too. Status: Released
