Patient Profiles

Every day new patients arrive at our facility. We see over 3,000 patients annually. Over 135 different species come to us for care. In an effort to tell their stories of survival and highlight the diverse number of species that we rehabilitate, we try to share some of their stories here. You can also see posts on our social media pages.

Young Bald Eagle

By Sarvey Wildlife / Monday, July 1, 2019 /

Once again this year, just in time for the 4th of July, we received a young eagle. He is too young to fly and was found on the ground today. No parent were seen and it is too early for him to be on his own. Was he displaced by fireworks? It is possible. This is a problem for us every year during the week leading up to the 4th and we are expecting a busy week again this year. He was dehydrated and emaciated, but we are treating accordingly. Status: Released
