This Rock dove came to us on 7/10 and is well known at Pike Place Market. He is a favorite there and obviously is missing several digits. We are doing all we can to help him, but he has a severe infection of his cere. His wound was debrided by our vet, but it is possible that the tissue is destroyed. Time will tell how well he heals. Everyone is pulling for him? Status: Euthanized 7/19/19. Unfortunately, the cere was not salvageable due to the severity of the infection. We had to humanely euthanize him.
