Patient Profiles
Every day new patients arrive at our facility. We see over 3,000 patients annually. Over 135 different species come to us for care. In an effort to tell their stories of survival and highlight the diverse number of species that we rehabilitate, we try to share some of their stories here. You can also see posts on our social media pages.

Ferry Stowaway
Yesterday, our volunteer Alistair rescued this Barred owl from the Mukilteo ferry. He was discovered on deck and made a couple of trips during the morning commute before we were able to arrive at the scene. It is unclear what happened to him. but it is likely that he may have hit a window or wall of the ferry boat. He is starting to eat and doesn't appear to have any serious injuries. We hope for a quick recovery and release. Status: Released
