Patient Profiles

Every day new patients arrive at our facility. We see over 3,000 patients annually. Over 135 different species come to us for care. In an effort to tell their stories of survival and highlight the diverse number of species that we rehabilitate, we try to share some of their stories here. You can also see posts on our social media pages.

Injured Bald Eagle

By Sarvey Wildlife / Monday, November 18, 2019 /

This eagle was found on the ground unable to fly. He has clearly been wounded, likely from fighting with another eagle. He has one large wound on his wing that had to be cleaned and sutured. He has feathers missing from his back, and his feet were really dirty and covered in small lacerations. We are treating him for an infection as well. Status: Euthanized. Sadly, the wound on the wing was so severe that it did not respond to treatment.
