Patient Profiles
Every day new patients arrive at our facility. We see over 3,000 patients annually. Over 135 different species come to us for care. In an effort to tell their stories of survival and highlight the diverse number of species that we rehabilitate, we try to share some of their stories here. You can also see posts on our social media pages.

Fork-tailed Storm Petrel
This small seabird was picked up on Camano Island. He was really out of place in the grass near a driveway. He was depressed and emaciated. We decided to transfer him to PAWS in Lynnwood as they have good pools for long term care of pelagic seabirds. These birds can spend up to eight months in the ocean. Status: transferred for continued care.
