Patient Updates

Every day new patients arrive at our facility. In an effort to tell their story of survival and highlight the diverse number of species that we rehabilitate, we highlight a new patient each week. Some of these are individuals, others are orphaned siblings. As their cases progress - we will update the outcome - our hope is that many, many of these patients are released!

This baby was attacked by a cat and arrived in critical condition. She was bleeding from multiple puncture wounds and her prognosis was poor. Good news!! She has healed well and thrived. She has just opened her eyes and was in need of a buddy. We learned that West Sound Wildlife on Bainbridge Island had one arrive today and so we are transferring her there for continued care. It is essential that she be raised with another squirrel and learns how to be a squirrel! It is wonderful we have a few different wildlife hospitals in our area to help us all get these special patients the care they need. Status: transferred for continued care.
