Patient Updates

Every day new patients arrive at our facility. In an effort to tell their story of survival and highlight the diverse number of species that we rehabilitate, we highlight a new patient each week. Some of these are individuals, others are orphaned siblings. As their cases progress - we will update the outcome - our hope is that many, many of these patients are released!

More Raccoons

We received a few more baby raccoons late this summer. All of our raccoons have been released, except for four that came in late in the season. Three were orphaned when their mom was removed from an attic by a pest company, and one was found alone crying in a driveway with no mom in sight. They are now together and will be released when they are old enough. (Thank you to Paul Dreyfuss for capturing this great photo of one of these babies.) Baby season continues with raccoons, opossums, cottontails, and squirrels. Status: released
