Patient Profiles
Every day new patients arrive at our facility. In an effort to tell their story of survival and highlight the diverse number of species that we rehabilitate, we highlight a new patient each week. Some of these are individuals, others are orphaned siblings. As their cases progress - we will update the outcome - our hope is that many, many of these patients are released!

Northern Flicker
We commonly see the Red-shafted flicker but there are also Intergrades and this is one of them. Yellow-shafted flickers are found to the east and far north. The intergrades are unique and this is the first one we’ve had in care. She had some head trauma, but is improving and was recently moved to an outdoor flight enclosure. Status: Released
