Patient Profiles
Every day new patients arrive at our facility. We see over 3,000 patients annually. Over 135 different species come to us for care. In an effort to tell their stories of survival and highlight the diverse number of species that we rehabilitate, we try to share some of their stories here. You can also see posts on our social media pages.

Shot Snow Goose
This goose was rescued and brought to us recently. She had been on the ground, unable to fly for a couple of weeks. Capturing her was a challenge. Radiographs confirmed that she had been shot. We are treating the injured wing for an infection and the fracture had already started to heal. Status: transferred. We sent her to Whatcom Humane Wildlife in Bellingham once she was stabilized. They had others and it was important that she was not alone while recuperating.
