Patient Updates

Every day new patients arrive at our facility. In an effort to tell their story of survival and highlight the diverse number of species that we rehabilitate, we highlight a new patient each week. Some of these are individuals, others are orphaned siblings. As their cases progress - we will update the outcome - our hope is that many, many of these patients are released!

Orphaned Great Horned Owlets

These two were discovered on the ground in Wenatchee. Sadly, one of the parents was hit by a car and killed. While it is common for the other parent to still raise the babies alone, it was unclear where the nest had been located and no other adult owl was seen in area. Due to their age, the decision was made they needed to come in for care. We do make every attempt to renest owlets, but that is not always possible. Status: Released
